A word birthed in prayer.
I Wear Pearls was given to Prophetess Tamela Wright as she was in prayer seeking the Lord. God spoke these words to Tamela: “I Wear Pearls.”
After seeking the Lord and searching the scriptures, God gave Tamela the word found in Matthew 7:6: “do not give what is holy to dogs, nor cast pearls before swine, lest they trample them under feet, and turn and tear you in pieces.”
Shortly after that, I.W.P. began as a Women’s Bible Study at the Store House of Glory in Senatobia, Mississippi. Today, Prophetess Tamela Wright leads I Wear Pearls Ministry and encourages women to know their worth in Christ.
